hi.

For me,
analog photography is a deliberate contrast to my everyday work in online marketing. I’m based in Leipzig, where I live and work, surrounded by a fast-moving digital world. There’s a digital tool or an AI prompt for everything there. In analog photography, however, the limitation to 36 exposures slows things down and shifts the gaze outward.
Sometimes you end up wandering around for hours, waiting to catch the right moment and capture it on film. Once you press the shutter, you never really know what you’ll be holding in your hands in the end.
What’s captured remains – with all its blurs, light leaks, and accidents. That’s why it’s also the aesthetics of analog film that fascinate me: for me, every frame carries traces of the moment within it, through its grain and imperfections.
